What we do
Six things, done properly.
We are a driveway and lane outfit. Grading, tar and chip, sealer, crack filling, patching and millings — the work that keeps a surface out of the ditch instead of replacing it every few years.
Tar & Chip Driveways
Two layers of hot tar and chipped stone rolled into a hard, dark surface. The fix for a gravel lane you are tired of hauling rock to, and a lower-cost way to get a solid drive on a long rural run.
View 02Sealcoating
A coat of sealer over sound asphalt to keep water, weather and everyday wear off the surface. We patch and fill the cracks first — sealer on top of open cracks is wasted money.
View 03Crack Filling
Cracks are how water gets under a driveway. We clean them out and fill them so the base underneath stays dry, whether or not you seal the whole surface afterwards.
View 04Patching
Pot-holes, broken edges and failed spots cut out and filled. We pre-patch before tar and chip and before sealer, so the new surface has something solid to sit on.
View 05Grading & Base Prep
Nothing on top of a driveway lasts longer than the base under it. We run our own machine to grade, shape and compact the surface before a single drop of tar goes down.
View 06Millings & Resurfacing
Recycled asphalt millings hauled in, spread and compacted, or an existing surface resurfaced. A hard-wearing option for lanes, farm entrances and work yards.

How we work
The prep is the job.
Anybody can spray a driveway black for an afternoon. What decides whether it is still black next year is what happened underneath first.
On a tar and chip drive that means grading the surface, spraying for weeds and pre-patching the soft spots before the first layer of tar goes down. On a sealcoat it means patching what has failed and filling the cracks, because sealer poured over an open crack just runs into it.
It is slower. It is also the difference between maintenance and doing the whole thing again.

Where we work
Local, and we stay local.
We are based in Princeville, in Peoria County, and that is the area we cover. Recent work includes a half-mile private lane over in Germantown Hills. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call and ask — it takes ten seconds.
